How do you process disappointment or rejection?

Some days are tougher than others. You’re not seeing the results you want, despite your best efforts. The deal didn’t come through. You didn’t get that call you hoped to receive. Your partner let you down.

What do you do when it gets hard, when self-doubt creeps in, when you question if you’re on the right track?

I’m genuinely interested in hearing about how you process disappointment or rejection. Do you retreat to yourself in silence, or do you share your feelings with trusted ones? Sometimes all it takes is a word from someone you trust to get you out of a funk, to remind you that you are an awesome badass who can rise above. Maybe you yell and shout and move on, or perhaps you relive every detail to figure out what went wrong. Really, I’d love to know.

Regardless of how you process setback, let me offer you this. If it really matters to you, then remember it’s never final. It’s never over. Believe until it happens.
