How much are you worth?
Ever thought about that? I haven’t. It’s kind of a scary question, isn’t it? Not that a monetary figure could ever represent our worth, but it does say something about how we think of ourselves.
Unless you absolutely don’t care about money (in which case you’re probably not reading this), I think it’s a fair question, and one that’s worth answering. There is, of course, no right or wrong answer.
How do you begin to answer this question? Here’s my approach:
1. The number matches the size of my dreams
2. How would I feel if I reach that number? Would I still feel like myself? Or would I have to be a different person?
3. Sheer fantasy? Or do I think it’s possible, even though I don’t have a clue how to get there? $1 million? $10 million? $20 million?
Once you have your number in your head, does self-doubt start creeping in? “Really? How do you think you’re going to get there? Do you really deserve that much? Do you need that much money? You’ll never get there. Who do you think you are?” Holy crap! Why is it that as soon as we dare to believe in something big, we inevitably doubt and start to sabotage ourselves? Do men doubt themselves like this? I doubt it.
So ladies, cast aside the negative talk in your head, and trust that whatever number you chose is perfect for you.
Maybe you will never get there. Maybe never even come close. But that is so not the point.
We must first be completely at one with our belief in order to manifest it.
There is power in writing the number and declaring it to the world…and most importantly, to yourself.
